You have been charging toward your goals with the fiery passion of the Knight of Wands, but this week’s advice is to slow down and conserve your energy because you are leveling up your mastery of passion and drive.
The figure in the 4 of Pentacles sits clutching his coins close to him. He conserves his time, energy and resources, and when he spends them, he spends them wisely – after careful consideration. I doubt the Knight of Wands so carefully considers his own actions before charging toward his desires.
When you add the 4 of Pentacles’ careful consideration to the Knight of Wands’ passion, you get the Queen of Wands. The next level up on the rung of wielding passion. In the Queen, we see the wisdom of the element of fire. She understands her own passions and she champions passion in others. She takes time to consider her moves carefully and wisely.
The Knight charges in and could be riding for a fall. To progress on our paths, we must preserve our passion, but temper our impulses. Conserve your energy this week while you carefully plan out your moves. The impulsive behavior of the past may have served you well then, but they won’t get you where you want to go now.
The Queen wields her passion wisely and gazes toward her future sure that the moves she makes now will yield the best results going forward. We should do the same.
