This week, we see two fives of unrest flanking the 7 of Swords.
The 5 of Wands shows discord with others, while the 5 of Cups shows the sadness that comes from mourning the love that you used to share with that other person or other people.
Maybe these others have taken something from you, and it’s time to cut them loose, but I see the 7 of Swords offering a solution to our problem.
The 7 of Swords tells me that we need to generate some new ideas for how to repair this relationship. Your discord comes from different perspectives clashing. Resolving conflict requires working together – even with others who see things differently than you do. More ideas isn’t a bad thing.
Heal your broken heart by seeing the situation from another person’s perspective. Act as the figure in the 7 of Swords stealing ideas from others in order to repair your bond. This might help you understand the other person’s point of view. The trickster isn’t always a bad thing. You can trick yourself into seeing someone else’s perspective. Doing so will help them see yours, as well.
If someone in your life is genuinely toxic, it may be time to let them go and mourn that relationship, but ask yourself if this conflict is just a difference of opinion on how to approach a problem. Can you work together to come up with a solution? Can you steal solutions that others have come up with in order to repair this relationship?
