With the Emperor demanding we take control of our lives, The Magician insisting that we create the lives we want and Justice informing us that we must make our own choices along the path, the theme of today’s reading is to take charge of our own lives.
I fondly refer to The Emperor as the “get your shit together” card. He’s so organized, he built an empire! Plans start with organization. Organize all that is available to you. Take stock of your situation and tools, and set boundaries that allow you the space to create.
From there, start using those tools, as we see in The Magician card. Make your awesome life happen! You have all of the elements available to you: your intelligence in the realm of air, your emotions in the realm of water, your passion in the realm of fire and your hands in the element of earth. Of course, there are more tools available to you, but those are the basics. Create!
Justice reminds us that you will have choices to make along the way. These choices are to be made by following your own moral code. Sometimes, fate steps in to assist us, like putting an opportunity in our path, but we have to make the choices that are best for us.
