As we see in the 4 of Cups, you have been unsatisfied with the state of the world so far. Justice reversed tells that you have strong morals and a sense of right and wrong that you live by. The 9 of Wands shows that you’re tired of defending your beliefs and not making any progress, but still you hold strong against attack.
With the call to end systemic racism in the wake of George Floyd’s murder by police, this reading seems to state the obvious.
I think this tarot reading is also a call to stick with it. We all need to reject the broken system that we’ve been living in (the 3 standing cups in the card) and recognize the gift of change that the Universe is offering to us (the new cup being given in the card.)
