I changed the focus of today’s tarot reading. I’ve been feeling down the past couple days, so rather than ask about soul purpose specifically, I asked how we can best move toward happiness today.
When I was on the path to my soul purpose earlier in life, I discovered that your soul purpose is sometimes just to be happy. That alone can be a challenge sometimes.
I’ve discovered my soul purpose, but it’s not enough financially right now, so I have to find some kind of job. This is disheartening, but I hope my journey can help others who find themselves in a similar situation.
Anyway, today, I’m focusing on happiness. I’m rereading the book Happiness Now, and have pulled today’s cards for help on the path.
The Chariot reversed tells me that I’m driven toward something right now. The Court Cards often represent people in tarot readings, and I’ve always identified as the empathic and intuitive Queen of Cups.
The Queen faces the Chariot, helping to divine what drives us and how to get there. We should support ourselves emotionally right now, as we try to understand ourselves.
She is turned away from the King of Swords reversed, who represents mastery over the air realm – the mental realm. He represents clear thinking and clear communication.
The Queen is so focused on inner goals and her watery emotional realm that she’s not thinking clearly and not clearly communicating with herself.
I think the message for me here is to get out of my emotions and see the situation logically in order to clearly communicate with my higher self. I need to access my King of Swords self in order to see my situation clearly and find happiness.
If I do bring emotions to the situation, they should be love and compassion.
